We are excited to announce that our annual training is now mobile device ready! Your clients can now complete their full training courses just as they did on their desktop, but in a mobile format as well.
What Does This Mean?
You will now be able to offer your client’s users access to watch the Annual Training class videos on mobile devices. Additionally, they will be able to take the training quizzes there as well. And access to their certificate? It’s available via their mobile device too!
How Will It Work?
Users will now see a new option available to them when they view the portal on their mobile device for “Training”. This tab will provide them with a view of the course that they are assigned. From here they will be able to watch videos, jump to other sections and content, rate the lesson, view their progress and all of the core features that they are able to do on their desktop or laptop computer. When they are finished with the videos, they will take the final quiz.
What if they’ve already taken the annual training course this year? The results will carry over. There will not be a need to repeat anything, they will need to log in to the PII Protect Portal via their mobile device to see the results.
While mobile phones are obviously the norm for many of us to conduct business, and we are delighted to offer this feature, we do encourage users to take the training on a laptop or desktop if available. This update will only open up the annual training class, and the core features of the “My Dashboard” section which contains most of the user-based material, will be accessible. However, it should be noted that the “My Company” and “Manage Clients” are not available with this release.
